Green Power Rally: Jill Stein, U.S. Congressional Candidate Laura Wells, Bay Area Candidates Present Vision For Social and Environmental Justice, and a Green Future

Berkeley, CA - This Sunday October 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Green congressional contender Laura Wells, and Bay Area local government candidates Saied Karamooz, Aidan Hill, and Mike Murphy, will join with 2016 presidential candidate Jill Stein in a "Green Power Rally" at 2939 Ellis Street in Berkeley (South Berkeley Senior Center).

In the November 2018 general election, Laura Wells is running for the District 13 Oakland House of Representatives seat, Saied Karamooz is running for Oakland mayor, Aidan Hill for Berkeley City Council District 7, and Mike Murphy for San Francisco Board of Supervisors District 4.

The five Green Party leaders will address:

- California Proposition 10 and Affordable Housing
- Environmental Pollution and the Climate Crisis
- Immigration Justice and Police Reform

Green Party spokesperson and rally speaker Laura Wells released the following statement on the event:
